How do I store my cookies until my event?
Please do not place your cookies in the refrigerator. If you keep your cookies in their heat sealed bags, they will be just fine stored at room temp. Cookies are enjoyed best within 2 weeks.
What if I have left over cookies or need to store my cookies for a later date?
My cookies freeze amazingly. If you want to preserve freshness and maximum softness follow the freezing directions below. I promise your cookies will still taste so yummy!
Freezing Instructions
- Remove cookies from bakers box. Keep cookies in their heat sealed bags.
- Place cookies in a large air tight container.
- When stacking cookies, stand them up and place fronts to fronts and backs to backs (like when you play dominos).
- Place lid on the container and put it in the freezer.
- Make sure the container is in a place that isn’t being moved around or shaken. Decorated sugar cookies are delicate.
- When you are ready to serve your cookies, remove the container from the freezer at least 12 hours prior to your event.
- Allow the cookies to fully defrost before opening the lid. If you open it too soon, condensation can form on your cookies.
- Most importantly, ENJOY!(:
